1 Sam 10:1-11:15, John 6:43-71, Ps 107:1-43, Pr 15:1-3

I come today out of obedience as my body is weary.  Lord please restore me in your presence.

6 The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. 7 Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
( I long to hear you voice flowing through mine to bring you word to those that need it.)

John

65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”
(Lord i thank you for every soul you have enabled.  Lord let the words of my mouth and my action bring people closer to you.)

66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
(Lord how disheartening that people can be so close to the living God yet not really know him.  Give us a discerning heart to help reap the harvest that is within the church.)

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he brought them out of their distress.
29 He stilled the storm to a whisper;
    the waves of the sea were hushed.
(Thank you Lord for all my trouble for it is in the storm that I get to see you work.)

The upright see and rejoice,
    but all the wicked shut their mouths.
(Lord let my eyes be open and bitterness never come in to choke out my praise before you.)

I praise you Lord for I have made it through my quiet time.  My eyes still tired, my body weak and sickness upon me.  Yet i will rejoice in you and pray that you healing presence will bring me out of this that I may serve you and my family even this day.)
